Guess I should tell you ...

I wanted to let all my wonderful customers and friends know that we will be MOVING. We will be moving back to Bend, Oregon in the first part of next month, so I will be closing my shop here. I will ofcourse have my shop up there so if you ever come up to Bend please visit me! I also will continue to produce and attend the Roses & Rust Barn Markets here both in the Spring and Fall, so twice a year I will be back with all my crazy Junque! I appreciate all of you who have been such wonderful support, and I am thankful to have made friends with so many people here. I will look forward to seeing all of you at our Roses & Rust Vintage Markets here at the Ranch in Anderson twice a year. Please continue to keep in touch with me through my Lulafaye Home FB and the Roses & Rust Blog rosesandrustvintagemarket.blogspot.com  I will continue to post updates and information about the Roses & Rust show as well as my shop up in Bend once I get settled in. My schedule for my shop is as follows : Open Thursday - Friday May 19, 20  then Monday-Tuesday May 23, 24 That is it! Last day will be TUESDAY MAY 24th. Busy, Busy, Busy!

Wow things have been crazy for my family and I lately! I am spending most of my time preparing for the Roses & Rust Show June 4th, either the planning or the projects for the show. Plus I have my regular days at my shop, we've had company from Oregon, and this weekend we travel to Oregon for my niece's wedding! It will be a great weekend though, a good amount of my family including my parents will be there. My good friend Lora will be working for me at my shop on Saturday, hopefully lots of people come in and keep her busy! My shop is really  full right now as I have been stock piling for the shows I will be doing the next few weeks. May 21st I will be joining the ladies of Frolic for their Antiques in the Garden Show in Chico, more info available on my FB page, and then the Roses & Rust Event is June 4th, so my month is not going to get any less busy, but I can say I am busy with FUN!! Hope to see you all soon!

Time for a Change!

After much consideration I have decided to cut back the days my shop will be open. I have been working like a mad woman 6 days a week, trying to keep up with my own household chores, 4 kids, a husband, and 1 dog, plus selling at 1 larger antique flea market per month(at least) . Plus to top all of that off I am in charge of putting together the Roses & Rust Show, which by the way is going to be FABULOUS! Needless to say I am overloaded! I need to have more time with my kids and husband, my house and yard are desperately needing attention, I will have more time for my creative projects, and hopefully things in my life will balance out. So the official days/hours will be the following : Wednesday - Friday 10-5 and Sat 12-4. Ofcourse I would be happy to open the shop up for someone who needed to visit us on a different day, just give me a call and I will do my best to accommodate. (530)356-7480

Alameda Antique Faire!!

Well, EXHAUSTED would be an understatement to describe how I am feeling after being a Vendor at The Alameda Antique Faire yesterday. Beautiful day, my dear friend Zizi came with me to help, lots of shoppers, and Zizi made yummy turkey burger for our lunch.Yum! Ofcourse I am pretty sure she had made that so she had enough for her lunch and dinner, but she gave me some cause she is sweet like that. Thank you Zizi for your turkey burger, driving the beast, and all of your help. lol I really could not have done it without you. I had lots of fun, but also learned alot! I look forward to more trips to market, but not sure as I will Vendor again at Alameda. Met some very nice people and saw some friends. Also found some treasures which I will bring out for the Roses & Rust Vintage Market on June 4th!

Taking a Vacation from my problems... lol

My sister and brother inlaw from Oregon stopped by and spent the night with us last night, they are on their way to Disneyland with their 2 girls, and with all the talk about going to Disneyland how could I not take my kids and go with them?? So, my shop will be closed on Monday 3-28-11. We will be open Tues- Sat. See you when I return!

Nice visit from a very sweet lady!

It was so good to have a visit from a friend and featured Vendor of our Roses & Rust show! Ruth of "Hill House" located in Medford, OR stopped by my shop to say hello. LOAD & UNLOAD

That seems to be my daily routine lately. Sometimes it feels like slim pickins, but not lately!! I have had LOAD after LOAD coming in and I am LOVING it! I am stashing away a good portion for the Barn show ofcourse, but I also have loaded the store up, AND I have decided to sell at a couple other Shows as well, so I hope to keep this rolling! My husband on the other hand, well, he would like to never have to LOAD or UNLOAD my "shabby sh**" as he so lovingly puts it, ever again. Ha! Fat Chance! :) I will try to get some pictures up of some of this last load, once we get it all unloaded. lol
